Feyintoluwa ‘Tolu’ Ekisola
Tolu is a comedic actress whose work can be seen on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Peacock. Her background is in musical theatre as well as classical performance in the styles of Shakespeare, Meisner, Fitzmaurice, Knight-Thompson Speech work, and Opera. Professionally, she’s known for her good nature, expressiveness, and comedic timing.

Manager of Community Organizing and Engagement at Mixed Blood Theatre since October 2025, Tolu has been responsible for base building and managing strategic partnerships around issues related to affordable housing, mental health, climate resilience, and racial equity. As founder and executive director of CAARE Production Company & Outreach Center, she wields the arts and digital media to activate global citizenship, empathy, and mobilization for Black and Indigenous people in her community. As part of CAARE’s programming Tolu develops scripts, host readings, and produces plays and short films – offering African and Indigenous diaspora various means to tell their own unique stories.
